In-person Farsi classes
In-person classes are designed primarily for young learners aged 6 and up, offering a rich, interactive environment. Alongside weekly lessons, students are encouraged to join cultural events and talent showcases that are woven into the curriculum. These experiences nurture public speaking, teamwork, and social skills, providing a well-rounded and engaging path to learning Farsi.

Online Farsi courses
These live, weekly online classes use the Google Suite platform and other digital tools to create an interactive learning experience. Students are encouraged to participate in virtual events and competitions, such as our Nowruz Challenges, where they share artwork, musical performances, and talents with our international community on social media. This approach keeps students engaged and connected, celebrating culture and creativity together.

Teaching Methods and Resources
We blend creativity and tradition in our teaching, tailoring lessons to engage students of all ages and backgrounds. Our online classes are live and interactive, conducted over platforms like Google Suite and Zoom, with resources such as PowerPoints, videos, and interactive tools like Jamboard.
In-person classes focus on methods like dictation and handwriting practice, alongside interactive activities that foster a lasting interest in learning. Students, typically ages 6 to 16, advance through levels equivalent to Iran's first through sixth-year curriculum, developing skills to confidently speak, read, and write.
Our carefully selected textbooks, some authored and published by our school, provide an authentic foundation for language learning. Regular feedback and weekly assignments ensure students stay engaged and supported in their studies, whether online or in-person

Years 1-6 for young students
Year 1
Requirements:
- Age 6-10
- No previous knowledge required
- Introduction of alphabet, numbers handwriting, phonics, intonation.
- Learn and practice Persian pronunciation
- Developing vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening
- Learn the alphabet fully
- Write words and basic sentences
- Greet people
- Learn numbers
Year 2
Requirements:
- Age 7-11
- Must know alphabet and be able to write words and make sentences
- Must comprehend some preliminary vocabulary
- Progressing vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening, speaking, and writing skills
- Learning sentence structure
- Developing vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening
- Practice improving handwriting
- Learn verb conjugations
- Familiarise with cultural concepts, traditions, and customs
Year 3
Requirements:
- Age 9-14
- Must be able to read and write
- Comprehend various uses of verbs
- Improve skills to read and understand short, straightforward texts
- Focus on conversational Farsi
- Write simple sentences
- Listen, respond, and discuss familiar topics with more than one person

Year 4
Requirements:
- Age 11-15
- Must be able to hold a conversation confidently
- Must know how to write long sentences with use of various verbs
- Practicing reading and comprehend classical style Persian Poetry
- Learning about different language registers including idiomatic and interjectional phrases

Year 5
Requirements:
- Age 10-16
- Must be able to read and write Farsi
- Comprehend various uses of verbs
- Must know sentence structures confidently
- Must have a diverse understanding of vocabulary
- Advancing understanding of Farsi culture, tradition, history, art, and literature with a focus on the history of Persian literature, scientists, artists, and ancient sportsmen.

Year 6
Requirements:
- Age 10-16
- Must be confident with grammar concepts
- Must be able to understand and speak Farsi to hold a conversation
- Expanding vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening, speaking, and writing skills.
- Further cultural understanding with a detailed analysis of Persian poetry, and famous sites and architecture
- Mastering how to ask and give opinions

Persian GCSE (U.K. Only)
Requirements:
- Age 11-18
- Ability to confidently read and write in Farsi and hold long conversations as well as give opinions
- Preparing students for the UK GCSE Edexcel Persian exam
- testing the skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing in four papers
- Wide ranging topics including identity, culture, local area, holiday, travel, school, future aspirations, study, work, and international and global issues
Persian for Teener and Adult Learners
Foundation (Non-Farsi Speakers)

- Fast-paced classes for older students and adults
- Reinforcing and advancing knowledge of alphabet, numbers, handwriting, phonics, intonation, and sentence formation
