Complementing our primary goal of teaching the Persian language to our students, we also endeavour to familiarise them with Iranian culture, arts, music and traditions.
Having gone through hours and weeks of practise, rehearsal and hard work, our students get the opportunity to put the result of their efforts on show at the school’s Annual Youth Day Celebration. On this exciting and unforgettable day, they perform traditional music ensemble, songs, traditional/tribal dances with their respective costumes, as well as plays and poetry narrations.
Youth Day Celebration is held on/or closest to the 10th of May every year.
Norouz Bazaar is another of our exciting annual events. On this day, the beautiful Haft-Sin is laid next to which, our students, their families and teachers can take memorable photos. On tis day, students can attend the event dressed in traditional Persian costumes in their varieties, read and learn about the meanings of Haft-sin items and their significance and indulge in delicious home-made Sabzi Polo Maahi (Iranian traditional Norouz dish) and other dishes and also purchase their own Haft-sin items from our bazaar to take home.
